Key Responsibilities

  • Wards: Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, including medication reviews, patient consultations, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Dispensary: Manage the hospital dispensary, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications, monitor patient responses, and provide guidance on medication management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support patient care plans and improve medication-related outcomes.
  • Education: Provide education and training to healthcare staff and patients on medication use and safety.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in clinical pharmacy services.
