We are seeking a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist to join a multi-disciplinary team providing expert rehabilitation and care for individuals with neurological conditions.About the Role:* Work alongside psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, music therapists, and orthotists.* Collaborate with highly skilled rehabilitation support workers and therapy assistants to implement rehabilitation plans.* Be supported by clinical and operational teams, therapy leads, and the wider physiotherapy network.* Provide rehabilitation for individuals with stroke, head injuries, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.* Treat and manage a variety of presentations in both the rehabilitation and complex care units.Main Responsibilities:* Assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred physiotherapy programmes.* Conduct comprehensive assessments to formulate individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans.* Promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice and enhance the service user experience.* Liaise with health and social care professionals to plan and deliver therapy services.* Ensure appropriate prescription, provision, and maintenance of equipment.* Maintain accurate written and electronic records in line with professional standards.* Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff.* Share expertise through formal and informal training sessions.* Lead on localised training plans for staff to deliver physiotherapy interventions.* Maintain a safe working environment and service user confidentiality.About You:Essential:* Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy.* Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).* Current registration with a professional body (e.g. CSP).* Evidence of continued professional development.* Experience in neurology, stroke, or head injuries.* Experience supervising/training Band 5/6 therapists and support staff.* Ability to use evidence-based practice and outcome measures.* Strong clinical reasoning skills in physiotherapy assessments and interventions.Desirable:* Experience in Respiratory Physiotherapy.* Membership in a specialist interest group (e.g. ACPIN or ACPOPC) or willingness to join.Benefits:* Competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum DOE.* 35 days' holiday, including bank holidays.* Pension contributions.* Blue Light Card for discounts in-store and online.* Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).* Eye voucher scheme.* Long service and staff recognition awards.* Free uniform.* Free parking.If this opportunity interests you, click the 'Apply Now' button to submit your application.All successful candidates will be subject to compliance checks, including three years of check-able references and DBS/PVG checks.Search Recruitment Group is committed to diversity and inclusion.
