Our client, a global leader within the financial services industry, is currently recruiting for a Compliance Associate to join their team specialising in working on behalf of lenders and investors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that pride themselves on providing a dedicated and trusted service to their clients.

To be considered for this role applicants must have a strong understanding and knowledge of financial services, and proven experience of working within the industry, ideally gained from within a compliance related or similar position. It is imperative that you have outstanding communication skills both written and verbal, along with a customer focussed approach with the ability to identify solutions and overcome objections.

This role will be working closely with the Compliance Team to assist in the implementation of processes and procedures to enable to company to meet its regulatory obligations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting in the completion of AML activities, including screening and due diligence upon corporate clients such as private & public limited companies
  • Reviewing, investigating, and reporting back to the business on regulatory breaches.
  • Supporting the ongoing review and assessment of applicable regulatory and industry developments.
  • Preparing compliance-related management information for presentation and dissemination to a wide audience including senior management, clients and key stakeholders.
  • Supporting the review, maintenance and organisation of related compliance policies, processes and procedures.
  • Supporting the preparation and delivery of scheduled compliance training.
  • Supporting other compliance-related projects, as assigned by the Senior Financial Crime and Compliance Manager.
  • Reviewing documents for legally privileged content and other exempted content under the Right of Subject Access.
  • Maintaining regulatory and compliance registers
