Recruitment & Compliance Officer

Are you a passionate and detail-oriented professional with experience in recruitment and compliance? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving organisation in Ipswich as a Recruitment & Compliance Officer. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are ready to make an impact.

Duties include:
  • Filter through CV library to pull out what looks good and reach out to candidates and follow up with an email.
  • Booking in interviews and sending confirmations.
  • Chasing and verifying references.
  • General administration support.  
The Ideal Candidate
  • Prior experience in recruitment and compliance, preferably in a high compliance sector such as healthcare care or education settings.

  • Familiar with the onboarding and compliance process, such as getting right to work documents and DBS checks.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, capable of working under pressure with changing priorities.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication abilities

  • Proficient in conducting interviews and headhunting candidates.

Position Details
  • Start date: Week commencing 31st March or 7th April.

  • Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch break). Minimum 25 hours per week considered.

  • Pay rate: £13/hour.

  • Potential for temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate (not guaranteed).

Interview Process

Candidates will undergo a 20-minute interview to ensure the right team fit. This role requires someone capable of hitting the ground running and seamlessly integrating into a small, close-knit team.
