the role.

In this lovely hands-on role, you will be joining a long-established and renowned leader in the machine manufacturing industry.

With a team of 8 people, you will be overseeing and optimising manufacturing operations ensuring efficiency, quality and of course, continuous improvement. We need someone with a solid manufacturing and engineering background for this important role.

Your day-to-day duties include:

  • Oversee daily plant operations
  • Production planning, scheduling and execution
  • Ensuring utilisation of resources
  • Monitor and improve operations efficiency
  • Lead and develop your team ensuring an open collaborative environment
  • Identify areas for waste / cost reduction
  • Promote Health Safety as a culture
  • Manage subcontractors and liaise with purchasing to ensure continuity of materials
  • Contribute effectively to management meetings and be integral is setting and working to department budgets
