We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager working with a fit out contractor in Ipswich who specialise in the refurb / fit out of high end office and retail spaces.
The projects tend to be valued between 1.5m - 2.5m.
As the project manager you will be site based spearheading the delivery of the project whilst monitoring the programme including but not limited to inserting drop lines and percentages. We require a project manager whom comes from a trade background ideally carpentry / joinery to suit the types of works that this contractor carry out.
The projects will involve dealing with high end clients that the company has worked with over a period of 20 yrs so client relationship building is key.
The ideal Project Manager must have:
- Commercial / Retail / Residential Fit Out experience
- Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
- Major experience in carpentry / joinery
- Understanding of programmes and ability to handle programming software competently
- Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Project Manager on commercial projects
- Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
- SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certs
