Paraplanner - Financial ServicesIpswich (3 days per week hybrid)Salary: £30000 to £40000 depending one experience and qualification

We are looking for a Paraplanner to provide essential technical support within a growing Financial Services team. The ideal candidate will assist with complex cases, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to FCA rules, the Financial Services and Markets Act, and company procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the Financial Services team, ensuring client deadlines are met.
  • Assist with the preparation of valuation reports, meeting documentation, and financial analysis.
  • Analyse technical data, prepare cashflow reports, and compile Suitability Reports.
  • Maintain and update client records in relevant systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and insurers via phone, email, and post.
  • Conduct research and attend client or insurer meetings as needed.
  • Manage compliance-related tasks and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Continuously develop your skills to meet Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and research tools like FE Analytics.
  • Level 4 Diploma or working towards it is required.
  • Previous experience in a paraplanner or similar technical support role.
  • Strong understanding of pensions, investments, protection, and financial planning.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with a focus on client service.
