Join our client, a leading facilities management company, as an Accounts Receivable Team Leader. This role is based in their Ipswich office and offers a dynamic work environment where you will lead and enhance the accounts receivable function. Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the accounts receivable team, ensuring motivation, management, and high performance.
- Collaborate closely with other department managers to enhance operational efficiency.
- Achieve individual and team KPIs, managing and developing the accounts receivable team.
- Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders and work alongside finance team leaders to provide optimal business support.
- Implement and improve internal controls, standardising processes to align with best practices.
- Ensure appropriate training for the accounts receivable function and related departments.
- Generate valuable management information to support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver all reports and schedules to stakeholders within tight deadlines.
- Manage and resolve issues with potential problem accounts.
- Drive system upgrades and ensure adherence to workflows within the accounts receivable team.
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience managing an accounts receivable function is desirable.
- Ability to develop team members' skills and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining internal control frameworks.
- Effective communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive and focused attitude in all professional interactions.
- Flexible and positive approach to work challenges.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OCR technology is desirable.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
