Sonic Summary

My client based in Ipswich, Suffolk is seeking to recruit both experienced and trainee Buyers/Purchasers specializing in Mechanical and Electrical components.
This position is 100% office-based with no option for remote work.
Candidates should be computer literate with strong experience in Microsoft and Sage software, and past purchasing experience in mechanical or electrical components is advantageous.
Experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry is also beneficial, along with skills in communication and negotiation with suppliers.
The role offers a competitive salary, and while experienced candidates are preferred, comprehensive training will be provided for trainees.

You must be:

Past experience in purchasing mechanical and/or electrical components would be beneficial.

Reliable, punctual and hard working.
Organised and work well under pressure.
Confident in communications and negotiations with suppliers
Confident in searching for new suppliers.
