Buyer

Buyer (Mechanical/Electrical) - Ipswich - Up to 40k DOE

I am working with an engineering company based in Ipswich who are now looking for a Buyer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and select suppliers
• Negotiate terms and establish strong vendor relationships.
• Manage inventory levels
• Create, process, and manage purchase orders, verifying order details, ensuring compliance with specifications and budget constraints, and addressing any order-related issues.

Requirements:

• Computer literate and good experience with Microsoft and Sage.
• Past experience in purchasing mechanical and/or electrical components would be beneficial.
• Past experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing industry would be beneficial.

Responsibilites:

• Computer literate and good experience with Microsoft and Sage.
• Past experience in purchasing mechanical and/or electrical components is advatageous
• Past experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing industry is advantageous
• Strong communication skills

Please note, candidates with no purchasing experience willbe considered for this role as full training will be provided.
