Buyer/Purchaser in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Sector
Location: Ipswich
Salary: Good salary package
Our client, based in Ipswich, is a market leader in designing and manufacturing first class machinery, predominantly for the Printing and Packaging Industry.
They are looking to recruit both an experienced and/or trainee BUYER/PURCHASER (Mechanical and Electrical)
Job Requirements:
We are offering full time and permanent positions, clean, comfortable and friendly working conditions, good rates of pay, for immediate starts.
The ideal candidates should have the following skills:
- Computer literate and good experience with Microsoft and Sage.
- Past experience in purchasing mechanical and/or electrical components would be beneficial.
- Past experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing industry would be beneficial.
- Reliable, punctual and hard working.
- Be organised and work well under pressure.
- Be confident in communications and negotiations with suppliers
- Be confident in searching for new suppliers.
Full comprehensive training will be given to any trainee/apprentice.
