A well-established civils contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of the main entrance route into the Sizewell C site, managing two major packages: a 30m groundworks and enabling package and a 30m civils package. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor

You'll take responsibility for all commercial functions across both project packages, working under the NEC form of contract, specifically NEC3 Option C. This role requires strong cost control, contractual understanding, and the ability to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Manage commercial delivery of two 30m packages - groundworks/enabling and civils.
  • Administer contracts in accordance with NEC3 Option C principles.
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and cost control.
  • Monitor and report on project forecasts, valuations, and financial performance.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the project delivery team and the client.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Strong experience in civils and groundworks within major infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in managing projects under the NEC3 Option C contract.
