Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Ipswich
Salary: Up to 70,000
Prime Appointments is working with a Tier 1 fit-out company seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to work on bespoke commercial projects across London, Suffolk, and Essex.
This is a client-facing role, requiring a detail-oriented, confident, and highly motivated professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with project preparation and tendering, including reviewing and allocating preliminary resources
- Attend regular site visits and project review meetings
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Main Contractors
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of Revenue and Cash forecasting, in line with the Finance Director's requirements
- Regularly review order documentation to maintain compliance and accuracy
- Take full responsibility for cost control, valuations, budgeting, and reporting to ensure project profitability
- Prepare subcontractor and supplier accounts
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Confident and outgoing personality with strong client-facing skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Previous experience within a joinery background (desirable)
