JOB TITLE: Traffic Operator

Duties & Responsibilities:

Dealing with multiple drivers

Communicating with ports

Booking delivery slots for entry in ports

Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times

Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time Rerouting jobs as and when is needed

Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system Speaking to customers on possible delays advising eta

We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:

Previous experience as a Traffic Operator - Essential

Confident and clear communicator - written and verbal

Excellent UK geographical knowledge

Can work on own initiative Quick and efficient problem solving skills

Organised at all times

Flexibility to meet the demands of the business

Monday to Friday shifts (daytime) Waiting on start time - between 6-8am start

SALARY: 28-33k
