Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Assistant Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Ipswich.

Ideal for a recently ACA/ ACCA Qualified individual working in general practice looking for the next step up into management and a personal progression plan (to Senior Manager).

You will assist in managing a varied portfolio of clients from an array of sectors, providing accounts and tax services, involving regular client contact and dealing with ad hoc queries.

The Role:

Assisting/ Managing a client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS102
Preparation of management accounts
Review of Corporate tax computations
Training and mentoring junior staff
Monitoring WIP
Attending client meetings
Working closely with the Partners
Business development activities

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified (ideally)
A strong background in accountancy practice
Experienced in financial reporting under FRS102
Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
Good communication skills
