The Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will inspire and engage students at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering high-quality lessons that encourage students to think critically about the world around them. You will have the opportunity to develop exciting, thought-provoking lessons, promote geographical skills, and help students build an appreciation for global issues and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
- Contribute to the development of the Geography department and the wider school community.
- Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities that enhance the students' learning experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Geography Teacher with a passion for your subject.
- Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is a bonus but not essential).
- Oversees applications are welcomed (school is able to sponsor)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- Organised, with excellent time management skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
