Role Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicatedSupport Workersto join our16+ supported Living Provisions.

We offer specialist care for vulnerable young people in a residential setting. This role is pivotal in supporting young people as they transition towards independent living, helping them develop life skills and providing emotional and practical support in a safe and nurturing environment.

Flexibility and adaptabilityis key for this role. you can take care of your own schedule, the shift is 8am-8am which includes an overnight stay in the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to the needs of each young person, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, budgeting and household management.
  • Support young people in accessing education, training, and employment opportunities.
  • Build positive relationships with young people to foster trust, emotional security, and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments in collaboration with multi-agency professionals.
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support, using de-escalation techniques and therapeutic approaches where necessary.
  • Encourage social inclusion and facilitate engagement in community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with organisational policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with social workers and management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience:Previous experience working with children or young adults in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Education:Relevant qualifications in youth work, social care, or a related field are preferred.
  • Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate young people.
  • Attributes:A proactive and energetic attitude, with a passion for working with young people. A commitment to being a positive influence and role model.
  • Requirements:A valid UK driver's licence and a clear Enhanced DBS check or willing to complete one.
