Neighbourhood Officer
£22 per hour
6 Month contract
Main Responsibilities
- Neighbourhood Management
o Oversee communal spaces and facilities.
- Resident Welfare
o Focus on health, safety, and satisfaction.
- Customer Service
o Resolve complaints and improve services.
- Community Engagement
o Involve residents in environmental improvements.
- Collaboration
o Work with other teams to enhance community living.
KeyDuties
- Inspect and Manage Spaces
o Regularly check communal areas, remove/store items, and oversee council-owned garages.
- Problem-Solving and Service Quality
o Address resident issues, ensure high -quality and cost -effective services, and stay updated on housing policies.
- Engage and Support Residents
o Promote resident involvement, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and participate in community activities.
- Maintain Safety and Standards
o Identify and address hazards, manage maintenance services, and ensure safety and equality in service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant housing qualification or experience
- Full driving license
- Housing or community work, stakeholder collaboration.
- Skills - Strong communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Attributes - Positive, creative, customer -focused, and flexible.
