Java Developer - £40K - £45K DOE - Ipswich - Hybrid / Remote
A software technology company are hiring for a Java Developer to join their team. As a business they help organisations innovate, scale and transform with bespoke digital products and services.
As a Java Developer you will build performant applications which will be utilised within the med tech industry. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications.
Skills:
- Java
- Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience building and deploying microservices
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle or MongoDB
- Experience with Git and CI/CD
- Strong understanding of Agile
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with security best practices and implementing security in applications.
Desirable skills
- React or Angular
- Experience of machine learning or AI
- Knowledge of Blockchain
- Experience with performance tuning or optimisation.
Ideally, we are looking for applicants who are local to Ipswich and willing to work from the office 2 days per week. We will also consider candidates on a fully remote basis within the UK.

Salary is up to £45K DOE + benefits
