This is an excellent new permanent vacancy for a detail-oriented Software Tester to work on a remote basis for an Ipswich based Software House.
In your new role you will work collaboratively with a friendly development team and take ownership of the full testing lifecycle for a number of client facing web-based applications.
This role will see you working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to understand the existing functionality (and future requirements) as well as planning, developing and executing tests to ensure software quality on both an automated and manual basis.
To be successful it is likely that you will have:
- Proven experience of developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for web-based applications (Microsoft stack)
- Performed various types of testing, including functional, regression, ad hoc, and automated testing.
- The ability to design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium or similar.
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
