Day to Day of the role:
  • Develop procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage reorder points, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, procurement transactions, and supplier performance.
  • Analyse sales data, market trends, and historical performance to forecast future product demand.
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts, collaborating with sales and finance teams to align with business objectives.
  • Ensure integration between supply and demand planning processes for balanced inventory levels and optimal service.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss planning insights and strategies.
  • Implement best practices in procurement and demand planning processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (desired not essential)
  • Experience in supply planning, demand planning, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of the packaging industry is advantageous.
