Operations Manager - Fine Wine Storage - Bonded Warehouse

The role

As part of the growing team at my client the Operations Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain.

Directly reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and the Supply Chain team to ensure the day-to-day operations of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

This senior role within the team encompasses full management of Goods In & Goods Out administration, as well as compliance and further opportunities which will arise as the group continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the supply chain team
• Carry out regular reviews of the team’s outstanding workload to ensure all processes are completed on time so that stock integrity and SLAs are maintained
• Ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations, as well as Food Standards, Organics and Packaging Waste
• Managing bespoke projects according to business needs including new customer onboarding, compliance and operational efficiency
• Support the General Manager with commercial initiatives and opportunities, at both company and group level.
• Manage relationships with other bonded warehouses and external suppliers of services e.g. shippers/freight forwarders and parcel carriers.
