Due to their continued success, our client, a leading distributor based in Ipswich, is currently recruiting for a professional Administrator to support their thriving Supply Chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an ever-growing business who are committed to their employees.

Playing an integral role within the Supply Chain Department,the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with raising purchase orders for suppliers, and ensuring paperwork, payments and shipping schedules are processed as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven administrative experience gained from a similar role
  • An understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain planning, and forecasting
  • Customer focused , with a proactive nature when meeting the needs and expectations of customers
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a creative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
  • Proficient user of SAP, preferred
