Reed Further Education are working with a college based in Otley, Suffolk. They are searching for a Lecturer in Agriculture to join their team for a 7 week period. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for agriculture and teaching, specifically in the areas of crop or land based engineering.
Job Title:Â Agriculture Lecturer
Position: Part-time - 21 hours
Role type: Temporary - 7 weeks
Location: Otley, Suffolk
Rate: £30p/h - £40p/h including holiday pay
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in agriculture to students at various levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that reflect the curriculum and educational standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methods and curriculum development.
- Good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 (GCSE C or 4 grade).
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience and skills in crop or land based engineering.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
