Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Evening Warehouse Operative based in Great Blakenham to join their dynamic team in the shipping and logistics industry. So what does the role look like?
- Operating standard warehouse equipment including forklifts, ride-on pallet trucks (PPT), and very narrow aisle (VNA) vehicles.
- Efficiently processing incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and assisting in stock checks.
- Handling and organising goods within the warehouse environment.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participating in training and development programs as required.
So do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment (minimum of 1-2 years preferred).
- Current Forklift Licence mandatory (PPT A1/A2, and VNA Licence).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to work night shifts from 5:30 pm to 3:30 am in Great Blakenham
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
