Are you experienced in pipework installation, looking for a role where you can train into specialist landfill gas equipment to secure yourself a futureproof career within the energy sector?

The company are a leading landfill operator in the UK - looking to change the way waste is dealt with across the country. With zero carbon goals, this is an opportunity to join the carbon zero revolution by facilitating the conversion of waste into renewable energy on an industrial scale.

In this role, you will be working to install and maintain the gas collection systems across landfill sites - utilised to turn waste into energy. You will be working on environment control systems and assisting the power generation teams. The role will include BUTT fusion and electrofusion welding.

This is the ideal role for someone who has worked on piping, with EF and BUTT fusion welding experience - looking to gain specialist skills in landfill gas collection equipment - solidifying your career in a futureproof industry, all while receiving an industry leading employee wellbeing package in one of the largest waste-to-energy companies in the UK.

The Role:

  • Install, maintenance and servicing of landfill gas collection systems, leachate systems and gas utility plants - and associated pipework.
  • BUTT Fusion and Electrofusion welding.
  • Site based but will cover multiple sites in area occasionally - with rare call outs on weekends.
  • Plant machinery operation

The Person

  • Experience in installation of piping work, from a civils background, waterworks, landfill etc.
  • Experienced in plant machinery operation.
  • Happy to work on multiple sites occasionally, paid door to door with some weekends call out.
