Tennial Personnel is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator for a temporary to permanent position in Ipswich.
The job requires working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a potential transition to a permanent role after 12 weeks.
Candidates should have proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with structural and architectural steelwork.
The role involves performing MIG, TIG, or ARC welding, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality control and safety compliance.
The salary is competitive, and a Counterbalance Forklift License is advantageous but not essential.

Tennial Personnel are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our clients team in Ipswich. This position works Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis (if you are successful over the 12 week period, a permanent role may be offered). The role focuses on structural and architectural steelwork, requiring precisionand adherence to industry standards. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components for a variety of projects ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG, TIG or ARC welding on steel structures and components. Technical Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings and technical schematics. Quality Control: Inspected completed work for accuracy, durability and adherence to safety standards. Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate with team members, project managers and supervisors to meet deadlinesSkills:Proficiency in MIG, TIG and / or ARC welding techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Experience using welding machines, grinders and workshop equipment Qualifications:Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with structural and architectural steelwork Understanding of industry safety regulations and procedures Counterbalance Forklift License is advantageous but not essentialKeywords:Welder MIG Welding Fabrication
