This position works Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis (if you are successful over the 12 week period, a permanent role may be offered). The role focuses on structural and architectural steelwork, requiring precisionand adherence to industry standards. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components for a variety of projects ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG, TIG or ARC welding on steel structures and components. Technical Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings and technical schematics. Quality Control: Inspected completed work for accuracy, durability and adherence to safety standards. Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate with team members, project managers and supervisors to meet deadlinesSkills:Proficiency in MIG, TIG and / or ARC welding techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Experience using welding machines, grinders and workshop equipment Qualifications:Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with structural and architectural steelwork Understanding of industry safety regulations and procedures Counterbalance Forklift License is advantageous but not essentialKeywords:Welder MIG Welding Fabrication
