Job Description:

As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in our business development team. Your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality, compelling bid proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients in the Soft FM sector. You will work closely with various departments to gather the necessary information and ensure that every bid is tailored to meet the specific requirements of each opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread bid proposals for Soft FM contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for bid submissions.
  • Ensure all bids are compliant with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain a library of standard bid content and templates.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ensure the timely submission of all bid documents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer, preferably in the Soft FM sector.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and persuasive content.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the Soft FM industry, including services such as cleaning, security, catering, and maintenance.
