The successful Materials Planner will be responsible for:
- Manage Internal or External suppliers ensuring plants will have the right material at right time
- Build and improve supplier relationships
- Update SAP Planning parameters as per business need
- Manage supply risk by setting strategic stock & escalate to procurement or supply chain planning
- Manage the continuous needs/resources balance for raw material, components, sub-assembly, and finished products
- Manage supply priorities based on project priorities / customer needs
- Manage the replenishment backlog (creation and rescheduling of the manufacturing and purchase orders)
- Manage stock of raw material/components according to the master production schedule
The successful Materials Planner will have:
- Experience within a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience into similar Supply Chain/planning areas
- A proactive approach and drive continuous improvement
- Excellent organisational skills and strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel.
- Advanced knowledge with ERP systems
- Bachelor Degree ( Math- Science field)
- A minimum of Undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering
