Adept Resourcing Group are excited to be, once again, partnering with an internationally recognised high performance alloy manufacturing company with sites across the globe. Together, we are searching for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Irvine, Scotland.
The right Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that both the plant and the equipment is maintained to company and statutory requirements. Candidates with electrical knowledge and mechanical bias are highly desirable as well as machine tool and CNC experience.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer's Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret equipment and plant layout drawings: mechanical and electrical.
  • Produce documentary evidence and carry out scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with schedule and legislative requirements ensuring that maintenance data records are accurately and promptly updated.
  • Respond to machine and plant equipment breakdowns, carry out the necessary repairs and report cause of breakdown.
  • Provide evidence of plant and equipment breakdown occurrences coupled with documented improvement
    recommendations.
  • A systematic and methodical approach to work organization is required to ensure that our housekeeping standard is maintained in accordance with Company requirements providing visible evidence of compliance

Electrical Maintenance Engineer's Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimum supervision.
  • Multi skilled.
  • Good fault finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge in MS office and other applications.
  • A good understanding and a proactive approach to Health, Safety and Environmental is essential.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer's Accountability's and Performance Measures:

  • Plant and equipment breakdowns are addressed in line with company standards.
  • Planned maintenance schedules are adhered to and timeframes met.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer's Requirements Qualifications:

  • Electrical knowledge and a Mechanical bias.
  • Traditional apprenticeship coupled with appropriate technical qualifications; City & Guilds /ONC/HNC in Electrical Maintenance.
  • Machine tools and CNC controls experience.
  • IEE Regulation 18th edition certified advantageous.
