Health and Safety Advisor - COMAH

Escape Recruitment are working with a growing, exciting manufacturing client in North Ayrshire to recruit for a Health and Safety Advisor role (COMAH experience required). This role would be for an 18-month contract period.

The role:

• Develop, review, maintain, update health and safety policy procedures and documents in line with COMAH regulations.
• Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams as well as technical managers and operational staff to ensure safety cases and COMAH reports are compliant with regulations and standards
• Reporting and safe response to unsafe conditions or acts in accordance with policies and procedures
• Ensure a workforce engagement process for safety cases and COMAH safety report updates including review and feedback timescales.

About you:

• Experience of top tier COMAH sites and competent authorities
• Understanding of COMAH regulations including DSEAR
• Effective communicator with the ability influence
