Stem Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Excellence Manager for a Pharmaceutical company site based in Ayrshire. The purpose of the role is to drive continuous improvement on a daily basis by identifying and leading CI/Efficiency projects across the site, developing in-house capability in using Lean Tools for effective problem solving and process improvement to deliver and embed Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities include;

Lead, facilitate and co-ordinate LEAN and PPI (Practical Process Improvement) principles, tools & techniques, developing internal CI capability across the site.

Improve decision-making and problem-solving capabilities within high performing teams at all levels throughout the organisation to increase autonomy and the pace of change.

Drive Operational Excellence roll-out plans for the site collaborating with external partners and global team.

Work with the leadership team to define the plans for Operational excellence and provide regular updates on the status of projects.

Requirements

CI/process improvement experience, with experience within the Pharmaceutical industry preferred.

Proactive in your approach, have a keen attention for detail, and be conscientious in ensuring all tasks are completed in full.

Previous experience in the implementation of lean structures, and application of Lean tools.

Strong leadership qualities, including experience in leading and delivering change management.

Lean Six Sigma Belt certification (ideally black belt)
