Maxwell Consultancy are working with a manufacturing business in Ayrshire in their search for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias). This is an excellent opportunity to join the maintenance team on a full - time permanent basis. Working a continental shift pattern, the business prides themselves on customer satisfaction.

What's required?

  • Minimum 3 years working asMaintenance engineer
  • Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
  • Electrical and Mechanical experience
  • Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
  • PLC fault finding
  • Background working in a fast paced manufacturing environment beneficial
  • Diagnose faults and rectify these issues where possible
  • Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors
  • Conduct root cause analysis for machinery failures
  • Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize production output
  • Liaise withcontractors on site to ensure that all equipment is serviced and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Working experience in a COMAH site advantageous
