The Role:
As an Operations Manager, you will report to Head of Timber Frames and oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production and quality targets are met within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate activities of manufacturing personnel.
- Achieve production metrics and minimise downtime.
- Optimise manufacturing processes for enhanced productivity.
- Ensure timely order fulfilment and adherence to operational standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Ideally have at least 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of timber frame or roof truss manufacturing.
- Background in implementing effective manufacturing practices and lean principles.
- Ability to collaborate with design teams to optimise manufacturing and ensure timely delivery.
