Adecco are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, to join our local client on a permanent basis in North Ayrshire. Who are a leading manufacturing of products worldwide.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

路 Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment

路 To undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests

路 To conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required

路 To prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager, to provide the most effective maintenance service possible thus maximising production output

路 Ensure area of responsibility housekeeping is of a high standard

路 Complete engineering projects as assigned by management

路 Actively engage with suppliers to improve service levels and reduce costs

路 Ensure that all Quality Systems are followed

路 Experience of working within a COMAH site a distinct advantage

To be considered you must have the following:

路 Experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment

Self-motivated individual with ability to lead by example

路 Good team player but can work on own when required

路 Good timekeeper, flexible & willing to work out with normal hours, if required

路 Knowledge of pneumatic circuits and demonstratable fault finding skills

路 Electrical controls knowledge - plc's, invertors etc

路 Computer literate

路 Flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet business requirements

路 Excellent communication and customer services skills
