SRS Partnershipis working with a leading manufacturing company in Irvine who are looking for 2 additional Shift Leaders to join their existing production team.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be an active member of the management team and drive performance in areas of safety, quality, output and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work areas and equipment are regularly and properly maintained, and general housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Achieve production and output targets/KPI on a daily basis and assist in leading smaller process improvement teams as assigned.
  • Ensuring weekly team targets and objectives for the Shift are met.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of product quality, and integrity are achieved.
  • Maintaining high levels of Housekeeping through rigorous conformance with5sprinciples.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships & ensuring effective communication at all levels.

Experience/Qualifications Required

  • Proven experience at a similar level.
  • A good understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience of continuous process production lines would be beneficial.
  • A strong understanding of 5s and the role it plays in driving both safety and workplace efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Previous working experience in timber/wood manufacturing would be preferred.
