Multi Trades Recruitment are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in Irvine. As a key member of the Site Maintenance Team, you will provide hands-on support and contribute to the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, including adherence to the Permit to Work system and conducting contractor reviews.
  • Identify and deliver innovative ideas to improve service quality and reduce costs.
  • Assist in the planning and management of the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring timely completion of work tasks.
  • Carry out both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities according to contract requirements and company competency appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Conduct water hygiene checks, general plumbing tasks, emergency lighting checks, and other PPM activities.
  • Perform basic electrical tasks based on qualifications and experience.
  • Undertake building installation and repairs, as well as maintenance of common areas.
  • Manage deliveries, liaise with contractors and suppliers, and control permits as required.
  • Respond to reactive breakdowns and contribute to the completion of PPM regimes.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Plumbing/Mechanical C&G qualification or equivalent (essential).
  • Experience in a similar role (essential).
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Safety-conscious and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physically fit to perform the required tasks.
