search hospitality in Glasgow is recruiting for agency kitchen porter to work with our clients in the Isle of Arran area within a care home.Shift: Rota based (when at the location the clients will issue you your Rota)Must be flexiblePay rate: £12.50 per hourRequirements:Must have a PVG to be considered for the roleMust have at least 6 months Kitchen porter experienceMust have good attention to detailMust have good time management skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentDuties include:Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitisedSweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shiftsBe ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operationsWash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotationArrange equipment and ingredient deliveriesKeep the food and supply storage areas organisedTake out the garbageHelp with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when neededThe role is in Arron which means you will need to get Ferry from Ardrossan (During summer months the ferry will leave from Troon) Search are going to help pay for the ferry travel there and back but only applies to foot passengers.There will also be accommodation provided for agency workers taking shifts within the hotel located on the Island.
