We are partnering with our client to recruit a Social Worker to join their Children & Families Division in a stunning Channel Island location. Role Overview

In the Care Management team, you'll work with children and young people who require safeguarding, including those who are looked after, subject to a Child Protection Plan, or on statutory orders. As the Lead Professional, you will oversee statutory cases and ensure a coordinated, multi-disciplinary approach to delivering the best outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead as the Lead Professional in statutory cases, including child protection, care proceedings, and looked-after children
  • Conduct assessments, planning, and reviews for children and their families
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team around each child, ensuring comprehensive, well-rounded support
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in line with Divisional policies
  • Participate in case audits, conferences, meetings, and court sessions
Essential Criteria
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • HCPC or equivalent registration
  • One year's post-qualifying experience or a placement in a statutory social work setting
  • Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Strong knowledge of UK/IOM legislative frameworks
  • Ability to produce timely and accurate written work
