TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based in London who are looking for Long-Term and Day to Day staff. This nursery provides exceptional care to children currently placed at the setting. They ensure all staff are well trained in the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding so they can best support the children within their care. The setting provides many learning opportunities for the children to develop new skills, providing activities that stimulate their interests and develop key cognitive and motor skills. The nursery is looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The right Nursery Practitioner will be supported by the team, whilst gaining experience working with children across the ages of 6 months - 6 years old. The successful Nursery Practioner will be enthusiastic, open to learning new skills, and have a flexible approach to helping the children learn. This nurturing nursery has recently gained 'good’ ratings with OFTSED.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work with a warm and positive private school, who are focused on child engagement with a specific approach to children with autistic and ADHD traits. The school's specialist care, therapeutic services and education provide support for children with ASD and ADHD. The school creates an environment for each individual to develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The successful SEND Nursery Practitioner

  • Level 2/3 in Early Years Education or Childcare - Not Essential
  • Experience working within a nursery and/or with children with ASD
  • A supportive and caring nature
