Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants from all subject areas to work in a schools in Isleworth starting in asap. Roles are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4pm, term time only.

Graduate Teaching Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students including students with special educational needs
  • working proactively to help students achieve their attainment levels
  • encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
  • helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn
  • assisting the teacher with students general learning and development.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with education
  • A strong communicator, able to build a rapport with young people
  • Patient and empathetic
  • Reliable and committed to the school and students' improvement
  • Enthusiastic and engaging
  • Able to work alongside the teacher and independently
  • Certifications and attendance to training courses for SEN are beneficial, as well as first hand experience with SEN.

Graduates from all subject areas are welcome to apply

Ideally you will already have some experience of working with young people, particularly those with additional needs, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher. As well as having a degree, having maths, English and Science GCSEs grades A-C are desirable but not essential.

You will need to have a DBS on the update service - if you do not have one you will need to apply for one which you can do so through Veritas.
