Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 6 MSK (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist to join the team at West London Mental Health's Lakeside Unit on an agency contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that combines physical and mental health care to deliver holistic treatment to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring evidence-based practice is utilized.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate physical and mental health treatment plans for patients.
- Develop and deliver personalized rehabilitation programs to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide advice and education to patients, families, and carers to promote understanding and facilitate self-management.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or students as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration.
- Proven experience working as a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist.
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Desirable:
- Experience working in mental health settings or with patients who have complex health needs.
- Knowledge of mental health conditions and their impact on physical health.
Hours:This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work standard hours, typically Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
