Location: IsleworthContract: Fixed Term until 31st July 2025Salary:£26,452 - £35,564 per annumHours:29 hours per weekLeave:272 hours per annum plus public holidays and additional Christmas closureWe are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computing and ICT Lecturer to join a forward-thinking college in Isleworth on a fixed-term basis until July 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire learners at Levels 1 to 4 and help them develop the essential skills needed for careers in IT and software development.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 4.
- Teach at various locations, including employer premises, as required.
- Contribute to the development of course materials and curriculum planning.
- Support and assess students to ensure they achieve their learning goals.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Degree in Computing, ICT, or a related subject OR extensive industry experience in Computing or Software Development.
- Knowledge and experience in website development and programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, networks, and IT concepts.
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one within an agreed timeframe.
- Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
