We are seeking a dedicated GCSE & Functional Skills English Lecturer to join our educational team. This role involves teaching both college and adult-aged learners, providing them with the skills and knowledge to excel in English.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students studying for GCSE and Functional Skills English.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to varying levels of proficiency.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Participate in departmental and college activities, and stay updated with current trends in education.
- A recognised teaching qualification in English or a related field is desirable.
- Experience in teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.
- Strong understanding of the English curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
