Job SummaryThe Production Assembler will assemble wood-based components and products using hand and power tools to meet quality standards. This position plays a key role in delivering custom-made products, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Assembly: Assemble parts accurately following work instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings, using woodworking tools and machinery.
  • Tool Operation: Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery, and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect components and finished products for quality, reporting any defects to the production supervisor before advancing to the next stage.
  • Materials Handling: Gather and prepare materials, components, and equipment for assembly.
  • Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary records, including production logs and quality checklists.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to achieve assembly targets and ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Maintenance Support: Conduct routine checks on tools, reporting faults or breakdowns as needed.
