Teach Plus are currently working with a 1-form entry, Good' primary school located in Isleworth, Hounslow who are seeking a part-time (or full-time for the right candidate) Year 5 Class Teacher to start in January.

The school is a happy, vibrant school that has a lovely family community feel. Children at the school make exceptional progress and are eager to come to school and learn. The senior leadership team have developed a positive relationship with parents and keep them involved in the children's learning through regular meetings and events throughout the school year. The school is set in a lovely, leafy area of Isleworth, with beautiful gardens and a large playing field for children to learn and play, the school has also undergone a recent refurbishment.

As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be required to:

  • Take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
  • Engage with parents and the wider community to support student development
  • Uphold the school's values and contribute to a positive school culture

The ideal candidate for the Year 5 Class Teacher role will have:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Recent teaching experience within KS2
  • A strong work ethic who is willing to commit from January until the end of the academic year
  • UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
