A Physics Teacher is needed in a Non-Denomination All Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in West London.

Teaching for this Physics Teacher role will be for KS3 to KS4 Science classes.

This Physics Teacher post will be full time, on a fixed term basis from October 2024 to July 2025.

The rates of pay this Physics Teacher position will be between £170 to £260 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

In the most recent inspection, the school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

It is one of the oldest schools in the area, tracing its history back to 1630.

From Year 7 to 11, the school has an intake for boys only with girls being admitted to school's Sixth Form.

The Sixth Form is part of a consortium with other Secondary schools in the borough.

The main school site is located near a famous country estate.

In 2003, the school gained Sports College status and in 2005 was named Sports College of the Year in the UK.

Several professional athletes, sportsman and MPs have been former pupils.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a recently qualified Physics Teacher or experienced Physics Teacher.

You are also encouraged to apply if you are a British trained Physics Teacher or overseas trained Physics Teacher.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Physics Teacher:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a Physics Teacher in UK schools
