An Ofsted rated 'good' primary school in Hounslow are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our thriving Early Years Team. This is a successful, popular, large community school with great facilities and dedicated staff, making it a fantastic opportunity for those looking to advance their career in education.

As an Early Years SEND specialist, you will work with children aged 2 to 5 years in a vibrant, creative and welcoming environment. Your role would be to support specific children with special educational needs. This support will consist of working with a variety of children or 1:1 support, encouraging them to participate during unstructured learning times and engaging them in planned learning activities as directed by the class teacher or other relevant staff such as therapists.

Job Requirements:- Experience working with early years children (aged 2-5 years) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)- Strong understanding of Early Years learning practices- Ability to establish positive working relationships with staff and pupils- Enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to providing high-quality education- Good spoken English, literacy, and numeracy skills- Proven experience of working effectively as part of a team- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.School Ethos:
