About the Role:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Responsive Repairs Supervisor to join our team, focusing on delivering essential maintenance services within the social housing sector in Ealing and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to make a real impact on the lives of residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of reactive repairs, managing a team of tradespeople, and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate responsive repairs across various social housing properties in Ealing.
• Manage and lead a team of tradespeople, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of tasks.
• Conduct thorough site inspections to assess repair requirements and provide accurate estimates.
• Effectively schedule and prioritise repairs, managing workload and resources while addressing urgent resident needs.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain excellent communication and customer service with social housing residents.
• Accurately maintain records of completed work and materials used.
• Manage the company van and fuel card.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar role, ideally within the social housing sector.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and sensitivities of working in social housing.
• Experience in reactive maintenance and trade management.
• SMSTS or SSSTS (Desirable).
