Job Advertisement: Support Worker for Elderly Lady with Dementia
Location:SO21 1XA
Hours: 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the evening, 7 days a week
Salary:18 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide regular visits to an elderly lady with dementia. The role involves a welfare check and ensuring the lady is wearing her lifeline alarm for her safety. There is no personal care required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit the lady for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening, 7 days a week.
- Conduct a welfare check to ensure her well-being.
- Confirm that she is wearing her lifeline alarm and help her adjust if necessary.
- Offer companionship and reassurance as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with elderly individuals, particularly those with dementia, is preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills and a compassionate approach.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- A DBS check will be required.
- Outside of Winchester the applicant will preferably need a form of transport
